SCP-9273-2 is aware of Dr. Laural Lottie's identity and history, but is not aware of her own designation as SCP-9273-2. SCP-9273-1 has no confirmed knowledge of SCP-9273-2.

Direct Foundation access to SCP-9273-1 is currently unavailable.
SCP-9273-2 has repeatedly interfered with Foundation attempts to re-establish contact with SCP-9273-1 and is believed to be deliberately preventing Foundation personnel from reaching her.
Until access can be restored, information concerning SCP-9273-2 and SCP-9273-1 is to be compiled from existing Foundation records, materials obtained during prior encounters, recovered documentation, and any information acquired without establishing a Foundation presence on Tellus.
SCP-9273-2 is not to be informed that she has received an anomalous designation. Her existing knowledge of Dr. Laural Lottie is not, by itself, considered a containment breach.
Personnel are advised that SCP-9273-2 possesses extensive familiarity with Foundation security protocol, interview methodology, containment procedure, and information-gathering practices. Conventional questioning has produced limited results.
SCP-9273-2 should not be considered cooperative solely because of her previous association with the Foundation.
SCP-9273-2 has repeatedly obstructed Foundation investigation into SCP-9273, withheld information regarding individuals associated with her time inside the anomaly, and demonstrated deliberate efforts to prevent Foundation personnel from locating or questioning members of the group encountered during Recovery Operation 9273-R.
Most significantly, SCP-9273-2 is currently preventing the Foundation from reaching SCP-9273-1. The method by which this access is being obstructed remains incompletely understood.
Whether this behavior is anomalously influenced remains undetermined.
Available evidence favors deliberate resistance.
Description
SCP-9273 refers to a dimensional anomaly connected to the disappearance of former Foundation researcher Dr. Laural Lottie and the later appearance of an individual identifying herself as Dr. L.
For archival purposes, Dr. Laural Lottie is designated SCP-9273-1.
The individual currently identifying herself as Dr. L is designated SCP-9273-2.
These designations reflect uncertainty regarding continuity of identity and are not intended to establish that SCP-9273-2 is a copy, replacement, or fabrication of SCP-9273-1.
No confirmed anomalous characteristics are documented in SCP-9273-1 prior to Incident HL-01.
Available Foundation personnel records describe SCP-9273-1 as academically capable, highly inquisitive, socially cooperative, and prone to exceeding the intended scope of assigned research.
SCP-9273-1 worked with extradimensional phenomena and individuals affected by involuntary dimensional displacement. Of particular relevance was her involvement with SCP-507.
On ██/██/████, SCP-9273-1 participated in an unauthorized activation of equipment associated with the rejected research proposal Project Horizon Leap.
At 14:37:08, SCP-9273-1 disappeared from the testing chamber.

INCIDENT HL-01 // PROJECT HORIZON LEAP
Much of the information concerning Incident HL-01 remains incomplete.
Recovered equipment indicates Project Horizon Leap was intended to detect and reproduce characteristics associated with extradimensional displacement.
During activation, instrumentation recorded mutually incompatible spatial measurements.
For approximately eight seconds, SCP-9273-1's biological telemetry appeared to originate from multiple coordinates.
Several coordinates did not correspond to locations within Foundation mapping systems.
One did not correspond to three-dimensional spatial notation.
No reliable destination was identified at the time of disappearance.
Subsequent dimensional analysis identified a recurring spatial signature associated with Incident HL-01. This signature later formed the basis for Recovery Operation 9273-R.
ADDENDUM 9273-R // RECOVERY OPERATION
Following confirmation that a survivable environment existed beyond the dimensional signature associated with Incident HL-01, Foundation personnel were authorized to conduct a retrieval operation.
The stated objective was the recovery of Dr. Laural Lottie.
Foundation personnel entered the anomaly expecting to locate SCP-9273-1.
Instead, the team encountered an individual later designated SCP-9273-2.
SCP-9273-2 was physically consistent with available records of SCP-9273-1 and demonstrated knowledge of Foundation personnel, internal procedure, Project Horizon Leap, and events predating Incident HL-01.
SCP-9273-2 identified herself as Dr. L. During initial contact, she demonstrated prior knowledge of Dr. Laural Lottie and distinguished Dr. Lottie from herself without prompting.
She was not alone.
At the time of first confirmed contact, SCP-9273-2 was traveling with multiple unidentified individuals who appeared to have survived within the anomaly for an extended period.
When Foundation personnel attempted to initiate extraction, SCP-9273-2 refused to leave immediately and stated that the retrieval team could not safely navigate the environment without assistance from her group.
Foundation personnel proceeded with extraction.
The group interfered.
SCP-9273-2 subsequently assisted the group in evading Foundation personnel and obstructed retrieval efforts for ██ days.
Several team members directly prevented Foundation access to SCP-9273-2 during this period.
Of particular note was an individual identified only as Vee.
Foundation personnel eventually succeeded in removing SCP-9273-2 from the anomaly.
The remaining members of the group were not recovered.
Recovery of SCP-9273-1 cannot be confirmed.
The individual extracted during Operation 9273-R was subsequently redesignated SCP-9273-2 pending determination of identity continuity.
SCP-9273-2 was not informed of this designation. Her knowledge of SCP-9273-1 predates Foundation contact with her and remains under investigation.
SCP-9273 // THE MAZE
Descriptions of the anomaly derive from Foundation recovery personnel, recovered materials, and statements made by SCP-9273-2 during unrelated conversations and interviews.
The environment consists of interconnected artificial spaces exhibiting unstable geometry, variable environmental conditions, and repeated inconsistencies in spatial continuity.
Routes documented during Operation 9273-R could not be reliably reproduced.
Rooms were observed changing position between traversals.
Structures appeared in locations previously mapped as empty.
Distances varied without corresponding physical movement.
SCP-9273-2 consistently refers to the environment as "the Maze."
She also repeatedly describes it as alive.
No Foundation analysis has confirmed that the anomaly meets conventional biological criteria.

ADDENDUM 9273-2.1 // IDENTITY DISCREPANCY
SCP-9273-2 physically resembles SCP-9273-1 to a degree exceeding ordinary biometric tolerance.
Genetic testing, fingerprints, dental records, retinal structure, and multiple historical identifiers are consistent with Dr. Laural Lottie.
SCP-9273-2 also possesses personal memories corresponding to verified events in SCP-9273-1's Foundation history.
Despite this, Foundation dimensional analysis indicates significant abnormalities not documented prior to Incident HL-01.
Several samples collected from SCP-9273-2 produced biological or dimensional results inconsistent with baseline records for SCP-9273-1.
One recovered tissue sample was genetically consistent with SCP-9273-2 while failing to meet standard criteria for human tissue.
The significance of this discrepancy remains unresolved.
Foundation researchers therefore maintain separate designations for SCP-9273-1 and SCP-9273-2.

The individual identified as Vee appears substantially more frequently in recovered materials associated with SCP-9273-2 than any other member of the group.
Field observations from Operation 9273-R indicate that Vee remained physically close to SCP-9273-2 during periods of travel and repeatedly positioned themself between SCP-9273-2 and Foundation personnel.
Recovered notes suggest the two frequently shared watch periods, supplies, sleeping space, and private conversations.
Several sketches believed to depict Vee were recovered among SCP-9273-2's belongings.
SCP-9273-2 later reclaimed the pages before archival processing could be completed.

Since recovery, SCP-9273-2 has continued to present difficulties for Foundation investigation.
She frequently identifies indirect questioning, deliberately redirects conversations away from SCP-9273, and has refused repeated requests to surrender personal notebooks or biological samples for long-term Foundation retention.
Previous attempts to monitor SCP-9273-2 directly were compromised by her familiarity with Foundation procedure and her ability to identify investigative activity.
Continued direct observation is presently considered impractical.
SCP-9273-2 counts individuals entering and leaving enclosed spaces.
She frequently confirms identities verbally after periods of separation and demonstrates discomfort when approached unexpectedly by familiar individuals whose arrival she did not witness.
During archived Observation 9273-44, recorded prior to the loss of reliable Foundation access, SCP-9273-2 stopped speaking after a familiar individual entered through a doorway behind Foundation personnel.
