Dr. Laural Lottie is a physician, researcher, and dimensional explorer driven by an almost compulsive need to understand the unfamiliar.
Her work focuses heavily on the intersection between medicine and anomalous science, particularly how biological, chemical, technological, and anomalous discoveries from one reality might be safely applied to another.
Laural approaches the unknown with curiosity before fear. Where others might first ask whether something is dangerous, Laural is often already asking what it is, why it works, what it needs, and what it could teach her.
This makes her an exceptional researcher. It also gets her into an extraordinary amount of trouble.

Laural is immediately recognizable by her long auburn hair, typically worn in two braids, with a prominent pale streak running through the right side. She has green eyes, a heavily freckled complexion, and wears black rectangular glasses.
Her professional clothing tends to remain practical without being particularly formal. A white laboratory coat is frequently worn over casual clothing, usually accompanied by sturdy boots and her deep red scarf.
Outside of work, Laural gravitates toward darker clothing, leather jackets, boots, distressed fabrics, and deep reds. She has a habit of looking slightly more prepared for an expedition than whatever situation she's actually attending requires.
